I cannot remember if I updated my redds on what is happening with my son and rather than re-type - here is a blog I wrote last night on another social network that remains nameless because it is the lesser of the two social networks (hee). Garrett is entering a new Kindergarten classroom this coming Monday that is specifically designed for children on the Autism Spectrum. As if it wasn't hard enough for a mother to send her child off to Kindergarten. I think it takes a special breed of parent to raise a special needs child. Well, I feel I was chosen for this task. Welp, I've won the first in a series of battles.For those that did not see my status and were not aware; yesterday, I was informed by Garrett's daycare providers that they did not feel their program was appropriate for his special needs.
I agree that my son is a challenge; however, the appropriate course of action is not to ask us as a family to leave the program. INTERVENTION is a requirement. With any child and ESPECIALLY  for a child with special needs.
