...no worries, this is not a World of Warcraft blog...yet, hehe.
This is about the movie 7 pounds, which I just saw with my mom.
It's very powerful, it's kinda devastating, and just an all-around good experience. It deals with some big issues, some big-wide-world-life issues, and it really got me out of my own head, and I just very highly recommend it, especially if you have found yourself kind of obsessing about the small stuff (which we all do at times).
I'm not going to tell you much more about it except Will Smith is AMAZING I just love him, Rosario Dawson is lovely, and also, I love Great Danes.
:D
In other news, Zoey has been bringing me her Hello Kitty almost every night, and Christmas eve she tried to bring me her stocking full of cat toys. SO cute.
Last night she brought me Hello Kitty, her new slinky worm, and a sparkly bracelet. She's gotten so funny with the present-bringing.
Also, thanks to a good freelance check, I was able to get my mom a new computer for Christmas. She ended up giving me her new monitor (it's a 19" widescreen, great for web work and graphic design) and she took my old flatscreen (just a regular 17") and now we have three printers, cuz the 'puter package came with another one.
Spent all day yesterday transferring her files and getting her set up with the new 'puter and now she's happy. I totally surprised her, that felt GREAT. Gave her the printer first and told her the guy said if it doesn't work with her puter we could return it, then I gave her the monitor and told her the same thing, then the computer, and she claims I totally pulled off the surprise :D
The dogs were exhausted all afternoon and evening yesterday, from the excitement of present-opening and the stress of begging for scraps of roast beast (so yummy, with dumplings and gingersnap gravy, mmmmmmmmmmmm) and the cats were very tired too because they got a lot of new toys to play with, so we spent most of the day laughing at all the crashed-out animals :D
Anyway, I hope everyone had a good holiday, and go see 7 Pounds.
Seriously.
