Case is long closed, no need to be silent about an open investigation.
So a jogger finds a body out in the woods and calls the police. Cops and criminalistics arrive and find no identification on the body, so the medical examiner logs her as a Jane Doe and takes her back to the morgue. I arrive before the autopsy to collect DNA from the victim(her profile wasn't in CODIS, but the man who sexually assaulted her was, and he was the doer), and the ME showed me her ink, opposite butterfly wings on both breasts. I took a picture so detectives could canvass local tattoo shops for possible identification(one artist not only remembered doing it, but that the woman came in, whipped off her bra and he went to town on her. He made a positive ID, no longer a Jane Doe).
Long way to go for a punch line... So, as I snapped the pic, I remarked, "She must have gotten the 'tit for tat' special..."
