Just thought I'd share a little ginger success, 'specially as I've been a bit quiet on here lately. Sorry!
Competed in the British Championships for Taekwondo today, at blue-tag level. Had a brilliant day! I won my individual category, beating my "nemesis" (more of a friend that I've run into numerous times at competitions, but she's been beating me more often than not lately!) in the final. Good feeling! She knocked my contact lense out though, haha. My eye is a little sore 
. Trophy is about the same size as my head 
We joined forces like we normally do for the tag team event, with another girl who also turned out to be very good, and completely kicked ass! We won the first round 28-0 (an average score for team would be about 10) and went on to win the final with a score of 22-2! Absolutely thrilled! Had a lovely day and made yet more ninja friends; if anyone succeeds in beating me up they'll have even bigger problems to face
