Dude. where i live most people are with browns and blondes, because we are not that common occurrence any more. As i was trying to say 1% of the population, means your'e a rare catch, you need to stop thinking about "them Saxons" and start thinking about your Unique selling points as yourself. 

If you're walking around with the aura of im not gunna pull cus im a red then you are not going to get a breeze though the trees mate. Take your time and dont go sprinting up to the first red head you see, just chill if she's in your eye line get her attention, throw her a wink, if she smiles then follow it up with your, "Hi im Darren". With you dude i think its all about asking questions without asking them, if that makes sense? By saying your name first shes gunna say "Hi i'm Sarah" then follow up with, so are you in college? ( this is the age checker part of your approach) So what if shes not, she might laugh and say oh no im still in high school or whatever, its a softer and more tactful of getting the age question out of the way.

PS seriously get the Saxon thing out of your head, cus it has nothing to do with anything, you can get what you want if you approach it in the right way and right mindset.
