If a start is to a beginning
Like luck is to be winning
Then I walk away the top spot

If to sail across the sea
Would mean that I could be with thee
No distance can keep us apart

No predictions came my away
And still yet the day came
To meet the one who touched my heart

If to feel all of time stand still
From a kiss of a thousand thrills
Then a statue i'd be in light and dark

You are the one that caught the eye
Of this romantic and passionate guy
Who had hurt and fallen hard

To you I offer all of me and more
You will never have need to implore
Let's take up hands and leave our mark

I never thought one day to know
It's no mystery that with you i'm whole
You are the moss and i am the bark

So here to you i write this ode
And a toast to what may unfold
Let's make our memories always spark
